Don't you just love this time of year?
With Ten months gone already in 2024, it is time once again to take stock, give thanks to the Lord Almighty and prepare to celebrate another Christmas. But sadly, there are those around us, like those with Special Needs and Cerebral Palsy Families who, for no fault of theirs, are not likely going to enjoy a full Christmas cheer.
There are over 700,000 individuals living with CP in Nigeria with over 80,000 of them in Lagos State alone, but their vicibility is limited by the high level of stigmatization and poor accessibility in our society.
For this reason, Benola's advocacy effort in the past 13 years, has been focused on emboldening and bringing out hundreds of these families and adults from all over the country, and with that has come the stark reality of their hopelessness in a Nation with inefficient and in some cases, non-existent social services.
So please partner with us and together, let's touch the lives of at least 200 Cerebral Palsy Families with N25,000 each, this Christmas.
